Abstract The perforation along the normal by a spherical rigid striker of a package of several plates with different strength properties was experimentally investigated. The influence of the presence of additional free surfaces (delamination) and the order of arrangement of plates with different strength properties in the punching package on the pereforation process has been studied.
Keywords experimental studies, pereforation, layered barriers, rigid strikers
