Author(s) V.L. Dil'man (South Ural State University, pr-t Lenina 76, Chelyabinsk, 454080 Russia, dilman@math.susu.ac.ru, dilman49@mail.ru)
Abstract We consider discontinuous solutions of a boundary value problem for a system of plastic equilibrium equations under plane strain and use these solutions to study the stress state and strength of an inhomogeneous strip with a defect in the form of a transverse cut in a stronger part of the junction.
Keywords stress state, inhomogeneous plastic strip, discontinuous solution, boundary value problem, defect
