Title Non-steady vibrations of impulsively loaded rods
Author(s) V. A. Svetlitskii (Moscow)
Abstract Non-steady vibrations of rod elements (generally, having a three-dimensional curvilinear shape) of devices and machines excited by impulsive loads are considered. An algorithm for the determination of the velocities (linear and angular) caused by the impulsive loads is presented, together with an approximate numerical algorithm for the solution of a system of equations describing the linear vibrations of the rod after the termination of the impulsive load.
