Title Perturbation accumulation during the transition to a periodic mode in linear time invariant systems
Author(s) M. Ya. Izrailovich (Moscow)
Abstract The perturbation accumulation during the transition to a periodic operating mode in linear systems with an arbitrary number of degrees of freedom is analyzed. The behavior of the systems is governed by a set of linear first-order differential equations represented in the normal (Cauchy's) form. We assume that the system is subjected to an arbitrary periodic exciting force with known period and constrained intensity. A sequence of Green's functions that describe the transient process is constructed and the norm of the corresponding linear operator is estimated.
