Abstract |
The attitude stabilization of a dynamically asymmetric satellite with respect to a fixed direction is considered. The center of mass of the satellite moves in an elliptic orbit. We assume that the stabilization is performed by means of on-off jet engines with delayed thrust cut-off and that the external torque acting on the satellite is bounded. Using the game approach [1-3] and decomposition [4, 5], we determine a domain in the state space from which the desired orientation of the satellite can be provided and construct a feedback control that ensures this orientation with maximum possible degree of accuracy. Effective bang-bang control laws that can be utilized for the attitude stabilization of a satellite were considered in [6-8]. Solutions of minmax problems of stabilization by means of bang-bang controllers with delay in the switching loop are given in [9-12]. |
