Abstract |
In a game setting, the problem of optimizing the shape of an axisymmetric rigid impactor and the structure of perforated layered slabs made from a given set of materials is studied. The ballistic
limit velocity plays the role of a criterion for a multi-objective optimization problem with additional
constraints on the mass of the striker and the mass of the layered barrier. The dynamics of high-speed penetration of a rigid body into a layered barrier is modeled using a two-term expression for the speed-dependent force of resistance to motion from the elastoplastic medium. An algorithm for solving a
game conflict problem has been proposed and implemented: a striker with an optimal shape against a
layered barrier with an optimal structure. The case is considered when the mass of the impactor is
given and does not depend on its shape (volume), and the case when a constraint is imposed on the
mass (volume) of the impactor. Using the evolutionary numerical method (genetic algorithm), the
optimal shapes of the penetrating bodies and the corresponding optimal structures of barriers were
found for all cases and the results obtained were analyzed. |
