Abstract The article considers some problems of mechanics about the rolling of a wheel with impacts and one-way constraints under dry friction. Such tasks are often encountered in practice when a vehicle wheel collides with or leaves an obstacle. The contact of the wheel with the road is assumed to be point, the dry friction model is the classical Euler-Coulomb model. A complete analysis of various cases of impact and post-impact movements of the wheel is given.
