Title Refined Model of Bending of a Beam as Applied to the Adhered Cantilever Method

Abstract A mathematical model that describes the bending of the cantilever and takes into account its imperfection factors (initial deflection, change in thickness), as well as the compliance of the substrate in relation to the adhered cantilever method is proposed. On the basis of the proposed model, a numerical analysis of the cantilever bending has been performed and estimates of the adhesion energy are given. The obtained results indicate the importance of taking into account the non-ideal factors of the cantilever, as well as the compliance of the substrate.
