| Abstract |
Problems and methods of spectral analysis of elastic systems are considered. Attention is focused on cyclic spectral formulations. Some general representations of cyclic solutions of the considered problems are derived and a decomposition method is presented. In the context of the analysis of cyclic systems, as an example, the spectral problem of the stability of a compressible continuous elastic ring is considered, the solution of which is given in analytical form. |
