Abstract |
A technique for identifying the time dependence of an transient boundary load with a known spatial distribution acting on a three-dimensional isotropic elastic body is presented. Reconstruction of loading is carried out in the frequency domain according to the measured response of a certain variable caused by the action of the sought load. The solutions of an auxiliary direct problem constructed in a special way are used. The numerical direct and inverse Laplace transforms are used. The auxiliary problem is solved by the boundary element method. Detailed results of a illustrative numerical example are given. The obtained solutions are found to be in good agreement with the results of direct measurements. |
