Abstract |
The paper describes a modification of the fictitious absorption method in terms of the base
functions choice, as well as a method for its implementation for the case when a stamp or defect has a
nonconvex region in the plan. In contrast to the commonly used scheme, for the introduced auxiliary
component of the solution, we use the derivatives of the Dirac delta functions with the boundary set
of the contact region as the support. We demonstrated application of a new type of auxiliary functions
by the example of the integral equations for axisymmetric problems of vibrations for a stamp and a
crack in an elastic medium. The choice of a more complex form for base functions leads to a simpler
form of the solution. |
