Abstract |
By the example of a local inhomogeneity in the form of a horizontal crack, a numerical and experimental confirmation of the existence of resonance effects in an inhomogeneous elastic strip, investigated by I.I. Vorovich, is given. Examples of the use of this phenomenon for detecting delamination in composite plates and determining their size and depth based on the data of ultrasonic monitoring by traveling Lamb waves are given. |
