Abstract The paper presents experimental data showing that fatigue loading is accompanied by redistribution of the dissolved hydrogen concentration in the region of fatigue damage accumulation. A model description of this process as the manifestation of parametric instability of a two-continuum medium is given.
Keywords hydrogen brittleness, fatigue strength, fatigue, diffusion, two-continuum model
