Title On One-Dimensional Dynamical Models of Nanotribology
Author(s) A.S. Kravchuk (Moscow State University of Instrument Engineering and Computer Science, Stromynka 20, Moscow, 107996 Russia, kravchuk_biocom@mail.ru)
Abstract The present paper deals with solution of dynamical problems of determining the parameters of mechanical interaction of two deformable bodies at the nanolevel in the case of two models: the classical Tomlinson model and a generalized model that can be used for any long-range potential. Both models are one-dimensional. The resistance to the motion is taken into account in the form of a linear dependence on the motion velocity. The influence of viscous friction forces and of the distance between the interacting bodies is analyzed.
