Abstract |
An optimal shock isolation problem is considered for the case where the displacement
and the load of the object to be protected (isolated) are constrained. The dynamic
characteristic of the isolator should be designed so as to maximize the range
of the mass of the object to be protected for which the constraints are not violated.
Solutions are obtained for a class of dampers and a class of elastic isolators. |
