Abstract Singularities at the boundaries of nonsmooth inclusions lead to a substantial concentration of stresses under the action of force or heat loads in both two-dimensional [1-4] and three-dimensional [5-8] cases. In the present study, the local dynamic thermal and elastic fields are determined near the singular lines of a propagating void (crack). The mutual influence (coupling effect) of these fields is analyzed.
