| Abstract |
The nonstationary dynamic contact problem of the impact of a rigid punch
against a prestressed elastic half-plane was asymptotically solved in [1] for
small contact time. In the present study, an asymptotic method is proposed to
solve the nonstationary dynamic contact problems of the indentation of a rigid
punch into a prestressed elastic strip. This method is based on some results
of [1]. The dynamic contact problems of elasticity were considered in [2-4]. |
