Title |
An approximate analytical determination of the limit state of perfectly plastic bodies |

Abstract |
In the present study, an approximate analytical solution of three-dimensional problems of perfect plasticity is considered by using the method of small parameter in the cylindrical system of coordinates. The condition of static determinacy of a three-dimensional isotropic perfectly plastic state - the condition of perfect plasticity - is used. The Prandtl approximate solution for a layer compressed by two rigid parallel slabs is used as an initial zero approximation [1]. |
