Title On one type of self-excited vibrations in a system with dry friction
Author(s) D. M. Klimov (Moscow)
Abstract If one puts a load connected by a spring to a fixed base on a moving belt, then undamped self-excited vibrations will arise in this system under appropriate conditions. The energy supply for these self-excited vibrations is provided by the motion of the belt at constant speed. This phenomenon has been studied in a number of publications [1, 2]. In the present paper, a more complex scheme of interaction between the components of this system is studied. In this case, the self-excited vibrations have more complex nature, as compared with the cases considered in the cited publications.
