| Abstract |
The nonlinear contact problem for an elastic half-space indented by
several paraboloidal punches without friction is analyzed by using
the method of matching asymptotic expansions. The asymptotics of the
contact stiffness of the system of punches is determined taking
into account the interaction of the punches. The influence of the
arrangement of punches in the system on the parameters of elliptic
contact spots is investigated. The asymptotics of the contact pressure for
a system of two spherical punches is determined in an explicit form. |
