Title The motion of a rapidly spinning gyroscope about a fixed point in a weakly resisting medium
Author(s) Yu. V. Kuleshov (Tambov)
A. V. Medvedev (Tambov)
Abstract The motion of a dynamically symmetric rigid body about a fixed point under the action of a small nonlinear dissipative torque is studied. By using the method of averaging, the evolutionary equations are obtained to evaluate the motion. The rotation of a body in a resisting medium was previously studied in [1-10].
