Title Steady-state vibration of curvilinear pipelines under local kinematic excitation
Author(s) V. A. Svetlitskii (Moscow)
Abstract A numerical method is presented for determining probabilistic characteristics of the stress-strain state of a plane curvilinear pipeline that has concentrated masses and is subjected to local kinematic excitation. The equation of small vibrations allow for the pipeline's deterministic static state generated by the concentrated and distributed weight forces. The described algorithm for approximate numerical solution of linear partial differential equations enables one to take into account the concentrated external forces, as well as the local constraint forces. The case is considered where passive vibration isolation is used to lower the level of the pipeline vibrations. An algorithm is presented for numerical determination of the optimal parameters of the vibration isolation system which meet the formulated quality criteria.
