| Abstract |
The problem of linear isotropic elasticity is addressed for two geometries: (i) a bilayer, composed by two layers of equal thickness, with a semi-infinity interface crack; (ii) a layer adjusted to a half-plane with a semi-infinity interface crack. In both cases the consideration is restricted the elastic properties of the adjusted parts that are assumed arbitrary but with the restriction of zero second Dundurs’ parameter. The arbitrary load is considered to be applied far apart from the crack tip. The expressions for T-stresses, i.e., the leading non-singular terms of the stress near the crack tip, are obtained analytically in terms of double integrals that were tabulated using numerical integration for a wide range of ratio of elastic moduli. |
