Abstract |
An optimal control problem is considered for a system of material points that move along a
rough horizontal straight line due to the forces of interaction between them and the forces of Coulomb’s dry friction acting between the points and the underlying line. Only forward motion is allowed.
A control algorithm is proposed that provides the fastest transition of the system from one state of rest
to another. |
