Abstract |
The excitation and propagation of surface acoustic waves in multilayer waveguides with
arbitrary anisotropy of elastic layers is considered. A brief survey of the asymptotic representations
obtained in the framework of the integral approach developed by V.A. Babeshko is given in comparison
with the results of classical modal analysis. Examples of applications to the problems of ultrasonic
nondestructive testing and structural health monitoring of composite materials are given. |
