Title Solution of the Generalized Oscillation Equation of Rods by a Recursive Operator Method

Abstract Taking into account the influence of the elastic base, external and internal damping, rotational inertia, and shear, the solutions of the equations for transverse and longitudinal oscillations of the rod are obtained by using a recursive operator method. The special cases of these equations are considered and the advantages of the method are illustrated by a specific example.
