Title Design Optimization of Load-Bearing Structures with Stability Requirements

Abstract A method is proposed for choosing a rational load-bearing design of a structure with regard for restrictions on equivalent stresses and critical loads in buckling. The method is based on a special finite-element model. Numerical examples are given.
