Title Critical Strain Conditions for Low-Plastic Metals
Author(s) V.D. Durnev (St. Petersburg State University of Engineering and Economic, Marata 27, St. Petersburg, 191002 Russia, vdd.sym@mail.ru)
Abstract Conditions are considered under which deformation of low-plastic metals improves its technological properties. The effect is attained due to the accumulation of a residual strain under the action of mechanical stresses that do not exceed the energy level of the Griffith crack self-opening.
Keywords strain conditions, Griffith crack
