Author(s) S.A. Nazarov (Institute for Problems in Mechanical Engineering, Russian Academy of Sciences, Bol'shoy pr-t 61, St. Petersburg, 199178 Russia, srgnazarov@yahoo.co.uk)
Abstract The notion of surface enthalpy is used to reformulate the criterion KII=0 of quasistatic propagation of a crack along a smooth trajectory and to adjust it to brittle anisotropic materials.
Keywords surface enthalpy, crack, stress intensity coefficient, invariant integral
