Title Accretion of a viscoelastic ball in a centrally symmetric force field

Abstract Investigated are processes of the formation of a ball, as well as the stress and displacement fields in this ball, due to inflow of the material onto the surface under the action of a centrally symmetric force field. A model of the processes of the ball accretion is proposed. Various constitutive relations for the forming material are considered. The influence of the accretion rate and mode on the basic characteristics of the stress-strain state of the ball is studied. A comparative analysis of these characteristics is performed for the models that take into account or ignore the specific features of the accretion process. Calculations for gravitating objects formed by means of accretion are carried out. Essentially new mechanical phenomena appearing only due to the accretion are observed.
