Title Thermodynamically consistent equations of state in nonlinear thermoelasticity

Abstract General relations for thermoelastic characteristics of isotropic materials are obtained. By comparison of the theoretical and experimental data, it is shown that the behavior of polycrystalline aluminum with high degree of accuracy corresponds to that of a hyperelastic material in a broad range of pressures and temperatures.
