Title On the drift of a hemispherical resonator gyro in the case of the phase shift in the information channel
Author(s) V. Ph. Zhuravlev (Moscow)
Abstract The control of a standing wave in a quartz hemispherical resonator that serves as a sensor in a hemispherical resonator gyro (HRG) [1] is implemented by a voltage applied to a system of electrodes forming together with the resonator a system of electric capacitors. These voltages are controlled by signals obtained from another system of electrodes (information electrodes). The influence of the control electrodes and information electrodes on the resonator dynamics has been studied in [2]. In the present paper, we study the influence of the phase difference between the resonator displacements and the electrical signals informing about these displacements.
