| Abstract |
The motion of a particle suspended on an elastic thread is analyzed.
The motion occurs in the uniform gravitational field. The thread is assumed
to be absolutely flexible and elastically extensible. The problem of
the orbital stability of the vertical periodic vibration of the particle
with an arbitrary amplitude is solved. |
