Title Anisotropic nonlinear elasticity
Author(s) K. F. Chernykh (St. Petersburg)
Abstract When constructing a possibly simplest version of the theory of elasticity (but with no loss of generality), the major difficulty is to take into account nonlinearities and anisotropy. In [1], we have considered orthotropic and transversely-anisotropic materials. Here, we consider the general case of anisotropy (crystals, textures, orthotropic and transversely-anisotropic materials). We use the reduced standard material and low-compressibility material models which allow us to obtain exact solutions of anisotropic nonlinear boundary value problems.
