Abstract Our research aims to obtain generalized micropolar thermoelasticity based on higher-order memory-dependent derivatives. The study was conducted on an axisymmetric solid with rigidly fixed boundaries that was subjected to an axisymmetric thermal shock. We obtained the solution in the transformed domain using the Laplace and Hankel transforms. In order to estimate the nature of the components of displacement, stresses, as well as couple stress in the physical domain, an efficient approximate numerical inverse Laplace and Hankel transform technique is adopted. The numerical results for displacement components, stress components, and couple stress components are obtained and represented graphically.
Keywords micropolar, thermoelastic, memory dependent derivatives
