| Abstract |
The motion of a gyrostat in a potential force field is studied. The
following inverse problem of dynamics is posed: find the gyrostat
parameters and the force field characteristics under which regular
precession with given angular velocities and nutation angle is possible.
Several cases are considered in which the potential is assumed to depend on
various combinations of the Euler angles. |
